Bourbon barrel-aged syrup was how it all started for me. I had been speaking with a friend of mine about wanting to flavor my maple syrup with bourbon and he suggested I get a small barrel from a distillery called Tuthilltown Spirits. I got my first 5-gallon barrel from there and as soon as the syrup was put in I knew it was awesome! The maple picks up just enough bourbon flavor to bring it to a new level of maple goodness!
Every weekend I'm asked if we have a bigger size or the bourbon barrel-aged maple syrup. IT'S HERE! Everything the original bottle has, just way more to share and enjoy! No need to hide this one!!
Learning more and more about what Bourbon is and how it is made was something I have always been interested in. Long conversations with friends and family about anything Bourbon related. One topic we always talked about is how a good desert becomes when you pair the right drink with it. I want you to have a taste of what this topic came to be!
This Bourbon Syrup is aged in Bourbon Barrels for 4-6 months allowing our syrup to attract the flavor and aromas of the Bourbon. There is no more than a trace of alcohol making this kid-friendly which was a must for me.

Every year at the Christmas Craft Festival We buy a bottle of Maple Syrup for my wife's cousins in Switzerland. This year we bought this Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple syrup. I cannot wait to see what they do with it. I know for a fact it will not go on pancakes. Last year it went on Foie Gras and chestnut crepes. This stuff is incredible.
